First of all I have to say that the original photo is a masterpiece! I've seen it in plenty photography related magazines and it has always catched me somehow. Your remake of "Le Violin d'Ingres" really makes me smile! I absolutely love it. At frist the picture itself delivers a really gloomy atmosphere which is underlined through the black and white colors and the strong contrasts which cause this old-looking effect. Furthermore I think the girl breaks through this depressionive mood. I love how her body slightly moves to the left leaning on the chair. Another detail that comes to effect is her hair which isn't straightened but rather curly which happens to make the picture looking quite sassy. All in all I have to say that I really fell in love with your version of the great "Le Violon d'Ingres" and how it mostly is the opposite of the original photo. Well done!
